Why we give
When we give, we strengthen our devotion to Christ. We acknowledge that every good gift comes from God and that all things are His and are for His good purposes. We trust in He will provide for our needs rather than relying on our own strength. Therefore, we give faithfully and generously as an act of worship.
So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.- 2 CORINTHIANS 9:7-8
