Fifth/Sixth Ministry - FSM

Fifth and Six Grade Ministry Leader - Rob Sorter

We have been coming to Calvary Chapel Poulsbo since around 2000 or 2001. I was the Youth Pastor for 13 years. Now I am the Elder over the Fifth and Sixth Grade Ministry or FSM.

The FSM group is a different ministry. Originally, this group was part of the 6th grade through High School age kids. Calvary Chapel Poulsbo decided to change it up a bit to spearhead vision into this age group. We started the FSM group to reach these kids in where they are at in their lives. We wanted to reach these kids at their level where they can understand and learn Gods word. The younger aged kids made it hard for the FSM age kids to be fed the way that they needed to be fed. The High School age kids made the FSM age kids to be lost in the fold and were missing out on learning Gods word. So this group, the FSM group, is designed to meet these kids where they can be fed the word of God and be fed at all times.

Multi-Media

 Audio:

Calvary Chapel Poulsbo audio involves running the sound board during worship.  It also involves sound for any DVD presentations or from the computer.

Video:

Calvary Chapel Poulsbo has a closed circuit system within the church.  We broadcast our services to our satellite classrooms that are wired for the video.

We also take care of special speakers who have presentations that accompany their teachings.  This would include feeds from Facebook, YouTube, DVD or other media.

We also have the capability to run DVDs on those special "movie nights" when necessary

Web site:

Calvary Chapel Poulsbo has teamed with Pritchard Websites to host our web site.  Through individualize training and one-on-one work, we are able to keep our events, ministries and bible studies up-to-date and current.

We have come up with a great web site that will allow those who are searching and seeking a new church home to find as much information about our church.
